St Louis De Montfort prophesied that True Devotion to Mary would be the way of life adopted by the great saints of the latter times. Another 200 years later Pope John Paul II described the reading of this book as “a decisive turning point” in his life. True devotion to Holy Mary is an essential pillar of Catholic consecrated life and Franciscan spirituality. Consecration to Jesus through Mary as described by St. Louis De Montfort is his book “True Devotion to Mary” may well be the key turning in your life. The church and all of human kind is in need of great saints in these latter times. As the John Paul II advised us all, “Be not afraid” my dear brothers and sisters.
If you are practicing Catholic and wish to complete the consecration then get and read the book “True Devotion to Mary” and follow the guidance provided by St. Louis. If you are non-Catholic you can start by contacting your local Catholic parish and entering their RCIA program to prepare you to receive the sacraments.
Other than your initial conversion and receipt of the sacraments of the Holy Roman Catholic Church, your total consecration to Jesus through Mary may be the decisive turning point in your life as it was for Blessed John Paul II.
My Dear Friends,
For those or you who may not have already done so, I offer you the opportunity to make this consecration to the Sacred Heart of Jesus through the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
Totus Tuus!
Harvey
————————————————————
I , N., a faithless sinner– renew and ratify today in thy hands, O Immaculate Mother, the vows of my Baptism; I renounce forever Satan, his pomps and works; and I give myself entirely to Jesus Christ, the Incarnate Wisdom, to carry my cross after Him all the days of my life, and to be more faithful to Him than I have ever been before.
In the presence of all the heavenly court I choose thee this day, for my Mother and Mistress. I deliver and consecrate to thee, as thy slave, my body and soul, my goods, both interior and exterior, and even the value of all my good actions, past, present and future; leaving to thee the entire and full right of disposing of me, and all that belongs to me, without exception, according to thy good pleasure, for the greater glory of God, in time and in eternity. Amen.
